Lucknow: A delegation of Vishwa Hindu Pratishthan called on the chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday and invited him to attend the World Hindu Congress to be held in Thailand from November 24 to November 26 as the chief guest.
The delegation was led by Sushil Kumar Saraf, president of congress. A government spokesperson said that World Hindu Congress is an organisation tht focuses on opportunities and challenges before Hindu across the world.
The theme for this year's conference is Jayasya Aayatnam Dharma or "Dharma, the Abode of Victory".
The three day event will see discussions on several issues pertaining to Hindus.
